The Perfect Option for Couples
Bungalow Espiritu (Spanish for Spirit), a smaller version of Bungalow Gratitud, is ideal for a couple participating in Bodhi Awaken or Bodhi Sessions or for parents attending Bodhi Family who want a bit of separation from their teenagers staying in Room Amistad. The idea for Bungalow Espiritu stemmed from our own personal travel experiences as couples: we at Bodhi Surf + Yoga enjoy a simple, quaint, and private lodging option that gives us the ability to prepare simple meals. In essence, Bungalow Espiritu represents the spirit in which we ourselves travel.
Espiritu is a great place for one or two people to rest up between sessions of surfing, yoga, and other adventure. It does not have what some may consider to necessities (air conditioning, television, or microwave), the intention of the Bodhi lodge is first and foremost to provide comfort and foster simplicity, sustainability, and harmony - with nature and between guests.

Some parts of Costa Rica might feel a tad rustic. Not Bodhi. We stayed in the Espiritu cabin and it had everything, it was incredibly clean and cozy... beautiful wood and high ceilings.
